 The counterfoil was perforated so as to make it easier to tear.
 USAGE EXAMPLE 2 :
 Investigators found the metal support structure had perforated the concrete, causing it to split and fall in.

 USAGE EXAMPLE 1 :
 A person would be encapsulated in the escape pod for safety purposes.
 USAGE EXAMPLE 2 :
 The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was the first document to attempt to encapsulate a common vision of rights and freedoms for all human beings.
