Akash, Biki, Chirayu, Dharmesh, and Emraan participate in each of these events. Points are awarded for each event: 1 st place in any event earns 4 points, 2 nd earns 3, 3 rd earns 2, 4 th earns 1, and 5 th earns 0. Each contestant’s score in these three events is added together to obtain that person’s total score.
