(tr.v.) to overlay inferior wood with a thin sheet of wood for decoration 4. (tr.v.) to conceal or hide under superficial attractiveness USAGE EXAMPLE 1 : The contractor decided to cover up the floor with veneer in order to reduce refurbishing costs.
