CAT Question of the Day
A triathlon consists of three events: swimming, cycling, and running. Akash, Biki, Chirayu, Dharmesh, and Emraan participate in each of these events.

Points are awarded for each event: 1st place in any event earns 4 points, 2nd earns 3, 3rd earns 2, 4th earns 1, and 5th earns 0. Each contestant’s score in these three events is added together to obtain that person’s total score. The contestants are given ranks based on their score such that the person with the highest overall score gets rank 1. The five participants got five different ranks.

It is also known that -
  1. Akash did not finish 5th in any event.
  2. Biki finished 2nd in only one event.
  3. Chirayu finished one position higher in swimming than in cycling.
