CAT Question of the Day
Answer the following questions based on the information given below.

The wave of relentless bargain hunters who once flooded their stores has now flowed onto the Internet. You might call them the "new window shoppers": whenever they want something, from a flat-screen television to a 36-pack of toilet paper, they just open a new window in their Web browser. Their disappearance from stores has left mass retailers like Best Buy with a lot of expensive real estate that sales can no longer support.
What is primary idea being discussed in the passage?
OPTIONS

1)All internet websites sell products at very inexpensive rates.
2)Mass Retailers are proving to be very expensive for shoppers and therefore are shutting down.
3)The emergence of "new window shoppers" is leading to a decline in sales everywhere.
4)Shoppers are flocking to internet for purchases leading to fewer sales in retail stores.
Tip of the Day
Concluding a group discussion means making a statement that is the "outcome" of the group discussion. It is not a restatement of your own points.
Last year's Question of the day (19-Feb-12)
On average, the Atlantic is the saltiest major ocean; surface water salinity in the open ocean ranges from 33 to 37 parts per thousand (3.3 - 3.7%) by mass and varies with latitude and season. Evaporation, precipitation, river inflow and sea ice melting influence surface salinity values. Although the lowest salinity values are just north of the equator (because of heavy tropical rainfall), in general the lowest values are in the high latitudes and along coasts where large rivers enter. Maximum salinity values occur at about 25° north and south, in subtropical regions with low rainfall and high evaporation.

Which of the following would be an appropriate title for the passage?
OPTIONS

1)Evaporation, precipitation, river inflow and sea ice melting in the Atlantic
 2)Salinity in the Atlantic Ocean
3)Levels of salinity in the Atlantic Ocean
4)Maximum salinity in the Atlantic Ocean
5)Variations in salinity in the Atlantic Ocean
