But their dreams have hit a roadblock, even as the first batch of BTech students is set to graduate in May. The new institutes are yet to be approved as IITs by the Parliament. As a result, the students graduating this year will not get an IIT degree for the time being. • 519 appear for CMAT from Vidarbha in 2 days The first Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) introduced by AICTE for admission to management courses commenced from Monday across 61 centres in India. A total of 519 students appeared for the examination in the first two days at Tulsiram Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, the only centre in Vidarbha. • ISEET to Replace AIEEE and IIT-JEE from 2013! Some of India's oldest and most prestigious entrance exams are soon to going to give way to a new entity – a consolidated entrance exam that will change the way students enter the hallowed IITs and equally renowned NITs, along with a host of other institutes. The HRD Ministry has come with a revolutionary proposal that has a solitary, national level entrance test - Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET) - replacing engineering entrance exams such as IIT-JEE and AIEEE from 2013 onwards. • University of Kerala Conducts KU-CAT-2012 for MBA University of Kerala invites application form for Kerala University Common Admission Test (KU-CAT-2012) for admission to the two year full time MBA and MBA in Tourism offered at Institute of Management Kerala (IMK) commencing in session 2012-13. more TestFunda Updates • TestFunda is Evolving….To Help You Learn Better!
