THINGS WE CAN DO STARTING NOW: Know someone who didn't vote? Talk to them and get answers. Convince them to vote in the midterm elections in 2018. Apathy is the only defeat. Know someone who voted for Trump? Get answers. Ask them to explain to you how a vote for him was not a vote for hate. Talk to your families this Thanksgiving. These conversations are uncomfortable, but you have a duty to use your power for those who have less. Don't alienate every Republican. We need moderate conservative allies against the Far Right. Reach out. Lots of moderate conservative did not vote for Trump. We need them to call their Senators and Congressman and ask for moderate policies. Educate yourself on your state house races and also Federal races.
