Jajoo is working for a company. The company conducted a survey for different products that it offers to customers. A questionnaire was given to 46,648 different families for the survey. Also basic information of the family members such as number of children, date of birth of all the family members etc. was collected. The company decided to give prizes to a few families that contributed to the survey and assigned the task of selecting these families to her. As there are limitations to the number of prizes that are to be given, certain conditions are put:
1) The families should have exactly three children 2) All three children should be boys 3) At least one of them should be born on a Sunday.
Jajoo’s junior, Dave, has come up with an estimate of Rs. 7,00,000 as the minimum amount that the company should be ready with if each such family should be given gifts upto Rs.1,000. Can you help Jajoo judge whether this estimate is feasible? |
