The question has two statements. Identify the nature of relationship between them.
Mark option 1, if statement A is the cause and statement B is the effect.
Mark option 2, if statement B is the cause and statement A is the effect.
Mark option 3, if statements A and B are effects of independent causes.
Mark option 4, if statements A and B are effects of a common cause.
  1. Many savvy investors have started investing in tax-free bonds to earn tax-free interest income as well as make a capital appreciation on these bonds. 
  2. Financial advisors are recommending these risk-free bonds with tax-efficient returns to their clients as well, as they believe investors have a good chance of pocketing capital gains in the next 15-18 months.

In a class there are seven students (including boys and girls) A, B, C, D, E, F and G. They sit on three benches I, II and III such that there are at least two students on each bench and at least one girl on each bench. C who is a girl student, does not sit with A, E and D. F, a boy student sits with only B. A sits on the bench I with his best friends. G sits on bench III. E is the brother of C.

Let there be m different such situations where the conditions holds true and a1, a2, . . . , am be the number of girls in those m situations where no two ai's are same and a1a+ . . . + am = K then which can be true?
  1. There is one boy on bench III and K = 3
  2. There are two girls on  bench I and K = 7
  3. There are two girls on bench III and K = 12
  4. None of these.
