CAT Question of the Day
The question below contains a paragraph followed by alternative summaries. Choose the option that best captures the essence of the paragraph.

To whom do we human beings owe our superior intellect? We have not just our genes to thank or a miracle of evolution. A silent debt of gratitude is also due to a humble ancestor who decided a couple of million years ago to eat fish! Scientists from around the world believe that the Omega and Omega-3 fatty acids from fish oils have contributed to the growth of the human brain and played a pivotal role in improving the intelligence of early humans. There's plenty of evidence to suggest that fish has been a vital part of the human diet since early civilisation. Archaeological sites from around Africa have thrown up bone fossils of fish with scar wounds from weapons that were used to kill and carve them up to eat.
OPTIONS

1)Scientists believe that there is plenty of evidence to suggest that consumption of fish with Omega and Omega 3 fatty acids has contributed to the evolution of intelligence in human beings.
2)Based on archaeological evidence scientists have established that the evolution of superior human intelligence is attributable to the human diet of fish since early civilization.
3)Scientists believe that apart from our genes, our diet of fish since early evolution has contributed to the growth of the human brain and our superior intellect.
4)According to archaeological evidence from sites around Africa, humans owe their superior intellect not merely to their genes but to the diet of fish rich in Omega and Omega 3 fatty acids.
Tip of the Day
A typical mistake people make is answering the question they thought they read, instead of the one which was actually asked. The test setters may deliberately include options which correspond to misinterpretations of the questions.
