While leaving, the monkeys left his gun at a point on the boundary of the swamp. As if this wasn’t already enough, his life got even more tragic when a hungry bear saw him helpless in the swamp and decided to have him for lunch. Dexter is stuck at the centre of the round swamp. The bear is at the circumference of the swamp waiting for the helpless Dexter to come out. Every time he tries to get out, the bear is clever enough to run towards the point on the circumference which is nearest to him. The bear runs with a speed which is four times the speed of Dexter in the muddy swamp. If he could somehow reach to his gun on the boundary, without the bear already there, he can shoot the bear with his gun. If he simply moves directly towards the gun from the centre, the bear will get enough time to reach there before he does. The bear does not know anything about the gun and is too heavy to stay up in the swamp, so the bear will always run along the circumference of the swamp towards the point on the boundary nearest to Dexter. Devise a strategy to help poor Dexter to escape. Assume that both of them can change the direction of their motion instantaneously. discuss | more puzzles   Do you have solution!
