CAT Question of the Day
Answer the question based on the passage given below.

The film introduces the Batpod, which is a recreation of the Batcycle. Production designer Nathan Crowley, who designed the Tumbler for Batman Begins, designed six models (built by special effects supervisor Chris Corbould) for use in the film's production, because of necessary crash scenes and possible accidents. Crowley built a prototype in Nolan's garage, before six months of safety tests were conducted. The Batpod is steered by shoulder instead of hand, and the rider's arms are protected by sleeve-like shields. The bike has 508-millimeter (20-inch) front and rear tires, and is made to appear as if it is armed with grappling hooks, cannons, and machine guns. The engines are located in the hubs of the wheels, which are set 31⁄2 feet (1067 mm) apart on either side of the tank. The rider lies belly down on the tank, which can move up and down to dodge any incoming gunfire that Batman may encounter. Stuntman Jean-Pierre Goy doubled for Christian Bale during the riding sequences in The Dark Knight.

Which of the following situations will the Batpod be able to protect its rider from?
OPTIONS

1)The batpod's rider is on a highway, when he sees a truck coming towards him from the opposite direction. The truck and the batpod meet in a head-on collision.
2)The Batpod's passes a car crash – the car is on fire. The Batpod catches a backdraft and its front starts burning as well.
3)The Batpod is being chased by a mob car. The driver of the car shoots at the rider from behind.
4)A mobcar shoots at the engine of the batpod
5)The batpod falls into the sea.
Tip of the Day
While evaluating strong and weak arguments, one can observe that the strong ones generally carry an extreme opinion on the case. Usage of words like 'extremely', 'only' etc. tend to make the argument stronger.
Last year's Question of the day (26-Oct-11)
The Indemnity Act of 1767, which gave the East India Company a refund of the duty on tea that was re-exported to the colonies, expired in 1772. Parliament passed a new act in 1772 that reduced this refund, effectively leaving a 10% duty on tea imported into Britain. The act also restored the tea taxes within Britain that had been repealed in 1767, and left in place the three pence Townshend duty in the colonies. With this new tax burden driving up the price of British tea, sales plummeted. The company continued to import tea into Great Britain, however, amassing a huge surplus of product that no one would buy. For these and other reasons, by late 1772 the East India Company, one of Britain's most important commercial institutions, was in a serious financial crisis.

Which of the following was least likely to contribute to the East India Company's financial crisis?
OPTIONS

1)The Townshend duty, which amounted to about 3 pence, wasn't enough.
2)The expiration of the Indemnity Act reduced the influx of money that came into the East India Company's coffers due to the export of tea to colonies.
3)The tea taxes cause the price of British tea to rise, causing reduction in its sale.
4)Tea was still being imported into Britain, despite the sale of tea plummeting.
5)There are a few more reasons that contributed to the financial crisis in the East India Company – they aren't in the passage.
