Its celebration time for us at TestFunda and we'd really like to share our joy with you. How about an exciting contest that's fun, creative and academic. We have interesting prizes up for grabs.

Say hello to the - Précis Marathon

Here's how it rolls

	On 22nd, 23rd and 24th June 2012, we will upload 3 passages at 12 pm every day. You will be required to précis the same. The more passages you précis the higher are your chances to win the BUMPER PRIZE
	A précis is a substitute for the original work. It is less than or equal to 1/3rd the length of the original written work
	You are required to preserve the core essence of the passage. Keep it clear, concise and be sure to retain important data
	This exercise will assist you in "paragraph summary" type of questions that are frequently encountered in CAT, XAT, etc.
	You can start submission of your entries right from 22nd June post 12 pm. The last day of submission will be Monday, 25th June at 6pm IST
	Submit your entries by posting them on our Facebook page

	Have your cake and eat it too:
	3 uber cool BUMPER PRIZES!

	1st Prize: Rs. 1000 + 25% off on courseware of your choice
	2nd Prize: Rs. 750 + 20% off on courseware of your choice
	3rd Prize: Rs. 500 + 15% off on courseware of your choice

These prizes are across performance in all the nine passages.

Also, for each passage, we will announce 3 winning entries, which will get offers and marks. The total of the marks across all nine passages will be used to decide the winners of the event. People with maximum marks will win the bumper prizes mentioned above.

The winning entries will get:

	1st Rank – 15% off on courseware of your choice + 3 marks
	2nd Rank - 10% off on courseware of your choice + 2 marks
	3rd Rank - 5% off on courseware of your choice + 1 mark

Winners will be announced on 27th June

A few rules:
	We love originality! The précis submitted has to be in your very own words.
	Do not use expressions such as "This author says" or "The paragraph means"
	You may send in any number (between 1 – 9) of précis submissions
	You can submit a maximum of one précis for a given passage
