CAT Question of the Day
The question below contains a paragraph followed by alternative summaries. Choose the option that best captures the essence of the paragraph.

We all believe that our way is the right way. It is only human. What we forget is our way is influenced by the culture we have been raised in. And every culture is different. We would like to believe that in modern times, we need to have a common homogeneous culture based on science, but this is based on the erroneous assumptions that humans are rational. We are not. You come from a culture that values one truth. Once upon a time, this one truth came from the royal or religious authorities, who claimed they had access to a divine force that stood outside human imagination. In the Holy Roman Empire, it came from God. In the post-Renaissance world, it came from scientific principles.
OPTIONS

1)The modern belief that we must have a homogeneous culture based on science is erroneous as it is influenced by the post renaissance world.
2)Our belief about the right way is influenced by the culture we are in. Historically royal or religious authorities have shaped this belief. Today it comes from science.
3)Each culture values one truth and this becomes its dominant belief. Historically royal or religious authorities have shaped this belief. Today it comes from science.
4)We are not rational because we believe science as the right way. Historically royal or religious authorities had shaped such beliefs.
Tip of the Day
A quadrilateral is said to be a cyclic quadrilateral if it is possible to draw a circle passing through all the four vertices of the quadrilateral. In a cyclic quadrilateral, opposite angles are supplementary and the external angle is equal to the interior opposite angle.
